Joey Piziali says he is constantly fascinated by the beautiful qualities of decay. Which leads him to contrast harsh geometric colourful shapes with a weathered decaying background. His canvases are often made up from found materials such as weathered bill board posters and discarded signs. Each piece is meticulously researched and planned and he cites influences such as influences, such as Rosenquist, Greenberg, Mondrian, Tim Sullivan, and Darren Waterston.
