^KESH^
Kesh is a 21-year old emerging fashion designer and DJ, and has been a prominent player in the fickle london fashion/club scene for more than a moment now. She recently featured as part of the MAN Fashion show, the London Fashion Week platform for launching new mens fashion talent, curated by Fashion East and Topman. That has previously fostered talents such as Carri Mundane of Cassette Playa, Henry Holland and Aitor Throup.
Kesh’s style is a mix of graphic 80’s fashion and ghetto-glam style.
She started designing at the age of 12 and more recently has been flogging her sell out graphic T-shirts on her online at Big Cartel. They have been picked up by the likes of Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West.
This girl’s talent knows no limits, she used to edit SUPERSUPER the Nu-Rave magazine that helped to birth the London Nu-Rave scene. She also acts as stylist for M.I.A, is one half of successful DJing duo The Coconut Twins and has even been known to turn her hand to modelling.
She is the queen of customisation, picking up most of her outfits in second hand shops. "Nearly everything you see me wearing costs less than a large pizza. I dress so cheap I should be homeless!"
After a flurry of scissors and safety pins, she can turn any charity shop find into something hot and sexy, screaming Kesh appeal. Don’t believe me? Watch her make a 30min dress on Current TV.
